The House of Pizza began in a little house on the edge of Millersville University's campus in 1968. By offering great food and fast service at a reasonable price, that little pizzeria was soon bursting at the seams. The site of the current restaurant at 101 W. Frederick Street was purchased in 1970 and construction began in earnest that same year on a larger restaurant. On January 20 of the following year, the new House of Pizza restaurant opened its doors to the citizens of Millersville. Sporting 160 seats in an air-conditioned building, our establishment was and is the biggest pizzeria/restaurant in the Millersville area. As our reputation for good food and good value grew, a 2nd House of Pizza was built in Lancaster city in February of 1986. In addition to our spectacular pizza, made the same way for over 30 years using the original recipe, we also offer a large menu of appetizers, salads, Italian dishes (including homemade lasagna), soups, subs, strombolis, and a large beverage assortment of soft drinks (including fresh brewed tea), 5 different draft beers and over 50 different varieties of bottled beer, coolers and wine. 

We are still that unique establishment which seamlessly combines a place for Millersville students to gather and relax and family dining for the residents of Millersville.
